Effect of In Situ Bioremediation of Soil Contaminated with DDT and DDE by Stenotrophomonas sp. Strain DXZ9 and Ryegrass on Soil Microorganism

In the present study, changes in microbial populations, enzyme activity and bacterial community structure contaminated soils were investigated during bioremediation of using Stenotrophomonas sp. strain DXZ9 ryegrass. The results showed that removal rates 81% for DDT 55% DDE (69% DDTs) with ryegrass-microbe. Microbial was remarkably improved, number bacteria increased sharply from 7.32 × 106 to 2.56 108 cells/g 10 days due successful colonization strains effects ryegrass rhizosphere. There significant difference fungi when comparing 30th 90th 210th day: actinomycete soil higher than without ryegrass, it indicated microorganisms significantly under action activities polyphenol oxidase, dehydrogenase catalase activated by combination microbe, urease less affected: It has influence on diversity soil, but its gradually decreased denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis an extension time. represented promising tools decontaminating restoring ecosystem sustainable ways, proposing new approaches technological bottlenecks promote biodegradation is very significant.
